Meet in a public place

Choose a busy, well-lit spot such as a shopping mall, bank or fuel station, and bring a friend if you can.
Inspect before you pay

Check the item carefully, test it, and ask for receipts or documents. Never pay for something you haven't seen.
Be careful with advance payments

Do not send Mobile Money or a deposit to someone you haven't met. Pay only when you have the item in hand.
Understand the badges

A Verified Seller badge confirms identity only. It is not a guarantee of the item or the deal, so still inspect first.

Keep chats on the site or WhatsApp

Keep records of your conversations. Be wary of buyers who rush you or refuse to meet.
Confirm payment before handing over

Check that Mobile Money has actually reached your wallet. A screenshot is not proof of payment.
Never share codes or PINs
