Write an ad that sells

Good ads get more calls and messages. Five quick habits help.

• Write a clear title

  • Say what the item is, with the brand and model, for example Samsung Galaxy A14 128GB.
  • Skip capital letters and words like URGENT. Buyers search by item name.

• Describe it honestly

  • Mention the condition, age, any faults and what comes in the box.
  • Say why you are selling. Honest details bring serious buyers and fewer wasted calls.

• Set a fair price

  • Look at similar ads in your category and region before choosing a price.
  • Be ready for offers. A price a little above your lowest is fine.

• Take clear photos

  • Use daylight and a plain background. Wipe the item and the camera lens first.
  • Show the front, back, sides and any scratches. The first photo is the cover, so make it the best one.
  • You can add up to six photos. Large photos are shrunk automatically.

• Make it easy to reach you

  • Add a phone number you answer and a WhatsApp number if you use one.
  • Reply to messages and offers quickly in My Account.
